The Sales Department is responsible for maximising all available revenues for the hotel through driving sales activity in order to maximise hotel usage both within the conference facilities and in the sale of rooms. As Sales Manager you will be directly responsible for:
- Maximising all C&E revenue opportunities
- Reviewing forthcoming business plans, identify gaps and ensure proactive measures to fill capacity and meet set targets
- Contributing to the selling strategy of the hotel, and managing the departments’ adherence to achieving that strategy
- Understanding the competitive market place and implementing approaches to ensure the hotel stays ahead in the local market
- Ensuring the Sales team are developed effectively and generate a culture of high quality standards and pro-active selling
- To work effectively in building relationships with colleagues in the hotel Corporate Sales Manager

We are looking for a Sales Manager who has:
- Strong leadership skills – effectively managing and motivating their team to perform beyond expectation
- Strong analytical skills to understand key business indicators and competitive trends and develop approaches to these challenges
- Excellent selling capability and an ability and desire to coach selling techniques to their team
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
