Great job for an enthusiastic F&B supervisor who will manage a team of approximately 15 members for several F&B outlets, in a superb hotel in the Utrecht area, The Netherlands. Are you ready for your first leadership role after your studies with an extensive F&B traineeship in an hotel?

- Be a part of the Food & Beverage Management Team and lead ca. 15 F& B Teammembers (incl. Trainees).
- Assist in outlets when busy. The F&B department consists a restaurant (breakfast, lunch and dinner), bar, roomservice and conferences & events.
- Direct report to the F&B Manager.
- Involvement in the training program of new team members, arrange both on the job training and company training.
- Hold mentoring interviews and Performance Development Reviews with several team members.
- Be assigned as a Manager on Duty.
- Ensuring consistent and convincing service according to the company standards.
- Adherence to all the guidelines.
- Take over from the previous shift and obtain all the relevant information at the start of the shift on business volumes, VIP guests, tasks to be clarified and completed and special events.
- Always bring complaints to the attention of the Team Leader / Manager and be in a position to solve these, taking account of the resources available.
- Friendly and obliging greeting of all guests.
- Checking of all F&B outlets including the conference rooms before the beginning & during of the event using the function sheets, for set-up, food & beverages and conference technology.
- Secure handling of the micros cash system. Drawing up bills at the end of working day. Correct booking and, if necessary, cashing up of all services provided. Booking of all transactions.
- Cooperative and communicative attitude to Team Members from all other areas of the hotel, especially with the Team Members of the Convention & Events Service.
- Safe handling of all the technical equipment to be used in the C&E area.
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness.
- Active promotion of inhouse sales by optimal knowledge of all services provided by the hotel and the opening times and promotions of the F&B outlets and the opening times of the fitness area.

- A degree in Hotelmanagement.
- Good knowledge, both oral and written, of Dutch and English.
- Experience with working for multiple outlets.
- Flexible in working in shifts, evening, during weekend and holidays.
- Managerial | Leadership skills with the ability to create a positive team spirit.
- A real teamplayer with excellent communication skills.
- Focus on quality and HACCP.
- Participation in internal and external training and further training measures offered
