The Reservation Department is responsible for maximising revenue at all times and maintains a consistently high standard of customer service.

The main responsibilities are:

• Manages the functionality of the reservation systems and establishes appropriate booking procedures.
• Maximices revenues at the Hotel giving support to the management to achieve high quality performance in the hotel.
• Mantains the standards set for the smooth running of the Reservation department supporting the business objectives of the hotel and the company.
• Confirms availability control and overbooking decisions.
• Takes an active role in developing accounts and is pro-active in the identification of customer expectations.
• Works with the Sales Department to establish the Sales and Marketing Plan.
• Establishes the strategic plan together with the Sales department and reviews the results of selling strategies.
• Prepares monthly statistics as well as ad-hoc analysis and assists in the preparation of business reviews, forecasts and budgets.
• Liaises with the various hotel departments to deliver customer service and achieve the selling strategy.
• Ensures revenue team has the skills and knowledge to carry out their responsibilities.
• Holds regular communication meetings with the team, both on a formal and informal basis.
• Conducts performance development reviews, coaching and training.

• Several years of experience in a reservation or sales environment in the hospitality industry.
• Experience in leading a team.
• Affinity for computer systems.
• Skills in team motivation.
• Must have excellent numerical, analytical and critical reasoning skills.
• Ability to communicate openly and clearly both verbally and in writing.
• High level of English and Spanish.
