| As Lecturer you will assist students in solving financial issues in the Hospitality Industry |

You will be part of the team `Business in Hospitality´ which consists of 15 lecturers in the subject areas of accounting, finance, marketing and strategic management. The school community is about 40 percent international. Because of the international character of the institute, the official language is both English and Dutch. (Dutch is not required)
As a lecturer you are responsible for the development and execution of general business courses. Your area of specialisation is accounting or finance. You will perform your teaching responsibilities in a professional manner, encouraging both students and colleagues to achieve excellence, whilst being an active team player willing to cooperate and contribute to the school´s success. In the area of Hospitality Management you are prepared to contribute to the future development in any of these or related subject areas: financial accounting, real estate finance, corporate governance. You will set the example to approaching business problems in a multidisciplinary way, reinforced through roles as lecturer and coach in a dynamic academic environment.

- An academic business degree with a major in the subject areas of finance, economics or accounting.
- A minimum of 2 years relevant work experience, preferably in an international business.
- A great degree of affinity with higher education or the hospitality industry.
- Good verbal and written command of English.
- Excellent social skills, an independent attitude to work, and a proactive attitude to solve problems.
- Insight and knowledge of current affairs and developments in hospitality or corporate finance.

The appointment will be made for a period of one year, and has the prospect of a permanent placement. The position requires at least four days a week. The selected candidate is prepared to work at both campuses, The Hague and Amsterdam. A demonstration lecture to the selection committee may be part of the procedure.
Depending on your work experience and qualifications your salary will be in line with the sector´s collective agreement (CAO-HBO) on function level 10 or 11 with a gross salary range between € 2,356 and € 4,162 per month. In addition, company offers a complete package of fringe benefits.
