| Are you interested in an international career? For our client in France, Strasbourg, we are looking for a determined, experienced and commercial Manager of Business Development, who will be responsbile for the optimalisation of the hotel revenue through effective yield management. |
|
- To support the overall strategic management of the hotel by establishing effective working relationships with senior Team Members.
- To research, produce, gain agreement to, implement and monitor the annual Revenue Proposal / Plan throughout the year, updating as necessary.
- To ensure that all revenue related systems are kept up to date with accurate information and all hotel standards are complied with entirely.
- To implement and maintain selling procedures in rooms, conference & banqueting sales, food & beverage outlets and the other departments.
- To monitor, against agreed targets the performance of key accounts in conjunction with sales, reservations, and the General Manager; and to participate actively in the ongoing management of key accounts.
- To maximise outbound sales from existing and potential hotel accounts.
- To set clear objectives for the Business Development team and develop individuals´ skills and performance to the highest possible level through detailed performance reviews, coaching and training.
- To be responsible for all marketing activity in the hotel.
- To maintain effective working relationships with regional sales, marketing a and revenue management functions to add value to the hotel´s commercial performance.
- To convert all the hotel´s revenue into collected cash within the shortest, agreed timescale through managing the credit control function in a diligent and professional way.

- Hospitality Degree (Bachelor/specialisation in revenue or Master is a pré).
- Minimum of 5 years management experience in the international hotel industry (Revenue / Sales)
- A measurable and proven track record to date within a strategic Business Development environment is essential.
- Excellent knowledge of the English language, well spoken and written French and preferably a third (European) language.
- A people manager with persistence and strong leadership skills.
- Result oriented strategist with excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate it to others.

- Indication of salary circa € 35.000 á € 40.000 gross per year, depending on background.
