For one of our clients, located in Phuket, Thailand – APAC region – we are looking for an experienced F&B professional to be the new Restaurant General Manager of a very well running large restaurant, operating under a renowned worldwide brand.

Job Description

In this position you will directly manage over 100 staff members including an Assistant General Manager, Restaurant Manager and various Supervisors.

Furthermore, you will be in charge of:

  • Make sure the staff provides excellent service levels
  • Driving the bottom line results
  • Manage a multi-dimensional operation
  • Providing excellent entertainment for the guests of the restaurant
  • Organise phenomenal events
  • Run a world known retail operation

Job Criteria

We are looking for an experienced F&B professional for this Restaurant General Manager position, who has the following qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a high volume, multi revenue source business unit with multiple F&B outlets
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including restaurant operations
  • A Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management or Culinary arts
  • The ability to pitch and present information in both one-on-one situations, in front of groups, customers, partners and the management of the company
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Genuine enthusiasm and aptitude for serving people
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of business acumen and common sense
  • Demonstrated strong problem solving skills
  • Multiple spoken and written language is a plus, fluency in English is required


Our client is a large, international operating, hospitality company operating hotels, casino’s, spa’s and restaurants franchising several world known brands. Their operations are located in the APAC region with their head office in Phuket, Thailand.
