As a trusted partner to the global hospitality industry, CourtesyMasters (United Courtesy Masters B.V.) delivers executive recruitment and advisory services to companies and institutions that demand excellence. These Employer Terms outline the core principles, responsibilities, and legal context governing our partnerships with clients.
1. Scope of Services
CourtesyMasters specializes in retained search, talent acquisition, and advisory services across the hospitality, lifestyle, and leisure sectors.
Each engagement is tailored and defined by:
- A signed agreement or assignment confirmation
- A clear project scope and fee structure
- Agreed-upon timelines and deliverables
Any verbal or written engagement with CourtesyMasters implies acceptance of our General Terms & Conditions.
2. Exclusivity & Collaboration
Most of our assignments are conducted on an exclusive or semi-exclusive basis. This ensures full commitment from both parties and allows us to dedicate senior-level consultants, market intelligence, and discreet outreach on your behalf.
Clients are expected to:
- Provide accurate, timely information regarding the vacancy and organizational context
- Maintain confidentiality, especially during confidential search assignments
- Involve relevant decision-makers during the process
3. Candidate Introduction & Confidentiality
All candidate introductions made by CourtesyMasters are strictly confidential and must not be shared with third parties or used outside the agreed scope.
If a candidate introduced by us is hired by the client - or any affiliated entity - within 12 months of introduction, our agreed placement fee applies.
4. Data & GDPR Compliance
CourtesyMasters operates under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). As part of our services:
- Personal data of candidates is shared only with prior consent
- Client teams are expected to treat all candidate data as confidential and in accordance with GDPR
- Clients may not retain or store candidate data beyond the scope of the assignment without explicit consent

5. Fees & Payment Terms
Fees are determined in advance per assignment and are typically:
- Fixed or percentage-based
- Structured in phases (e.g., start, shortlist, hire)
- Exclusive of VAT and third-party costs (if applicable)
Our payment terms are 14 days net unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Late payments may incur interest and administrative fees in accordance with Dutch commercial law.
6. Legal Framework
All contracts with United Courtesy Masters B.V. are governed by Dutch Law, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of The Hague.
