Center Parcs Europe is a leading operator of family holiday villages, specialising in short stays amid natural surroundings with self-catering cottages, subtropical indoor swimming paradises called Aqua Mundo, and a broad programme of recreational activities.

Nature at the centre

Founded in 1968 by Dutch entrepreneur Piet Derksen with the opening of the first park in the Netherlands, the company today operates 28 Center Parcs villages and two Sunparks across five countries: the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France and, since 2025, Denmark. Each village preserves at least ninety per cent of its site as natural space.

The formula

Woodland or lakeside lodges, an Aqua Mundo heated year-round, and activities for every age. It is a formula that has drawn families back for more than half a century.
