General Manager, Hotel, The Netherlands (central)
Job description
As General Manager, you will have overall responsibility for all operational, commercial and financial activities of the hotel. You will ensure that both the daily hotel operation and complex high end events are executed at the highest level.
With your experience and leadership, you know how to connect, coach and facilitate teams within a dynamic environment, where quality, guest experience and operational excellence are always central.
In addition, you will develop and safeguard the commercial strategy of the organisation, with a focus on growth, profitability and sustainable relationships. You will actively manage budgets, forecasts and P&L results, translating commercial opportunities into concrete success for the hotel and convention centre.
Candidate profile
- An experienced General Manager with a strong commercial focus and extensive knowledge of the hotel and conference industry.
- Broad knowledge of Rooms and F&B, combined with a strong understanding of the MICE market.
- Affinity with both the corporate and leisure markets.
- A completed higher professional education degree in hospitality, hotel management, business administration or a comparable field.
- Strong financial insight, with experience in P&L responsibility and a results driven approach.
- A coaching and connecting leadership style, with strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
- An entrepreneurial and energetic personality, with a sense of humor, decisiveness and natural leadership.

Job offer
In addition to a fixed salary package of approximately € 75,000 to € 85,000 gross per year and a company car, secondary employment benefits include training and development opportunities.
