Are you the inspiring leader to manage a beautiful childcare facility? Or are you already working in childcare and looking to grow, becoming part of something unique? Keep reading.

We are embarking on a new adventure! In a stunning historical building, we are launching an innovative and refreshing concept for childcare. This facility will soon accommodate nearly 200 children and is strategically located in the heart of The Hague. With a clear vision in which hospitality plays a central role, we are creating a safe and inspiring environment for children. We are determined to make this a great success, but we need you to achieve it!



Candidate profile

As a Location Manager, you are the linchpin of our team, utilizing your leadership skills, passion for the care and education of children, and hospitality talent to successfully launch and foster the growth of the facility. You will play a central role in the daily operations, fostering a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring the overall well-being of the children and staff at our location.

You are an inspiring team player capable of creating and maintaining a positive work environment. You contribute creative concepts to enhance the quality of childcare and attract new families. Your communication is clear and effective, both in English and Dutch, with children, the team, and parents.

You ensure the quality of our childcare, the well-being of the children, and the satisfaction of parents. You coach, train, and guide the team to develop their skills and provide optimal care to the children. Your leadership style is hands-on; you actively participate in childcare, are visible on the work floor, and serve as a role model for the team.

In addition, you possess:

  • HBO-level education and thinking
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience: You have at least 2 years of experience in a managerial role in childcare and/or the hospitality sector.
  • Administrative skills: You have the ability to effectively perform administrative tasks such as planning, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Pedagogical skills: You have a natural inclination for the well-being and development of children, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment.
  • Knowledge of the childcare sector: You are familiar with the applicable laws and regulations as well as pedagogical approaches in childcare.

Job offer

Depending on your experience and qualifications, your salary will fall within scale 9 or 10 according to the childcare collective labor agreement (cao kinderopvang). Secondary employment conditions will be tailored to specific preferences and can be flexible, encompassing aspects such as education support, travel expenses, bonuses, etc.
