Landal

Landal traces its origins to 1954, when Dutch insurance company Nillmij purchased the holiday park Rabbit Hill near Nieuw-Milligen on the Veluwe, originally intended for its own staff before also being rented out to guests. The park grew into what became Landal GreenParks, a name the company carried from the mid-1990s onwards.

Nature-based holiday parks

Landal's parks are known for their settings amid forests, dunes, lakes and coastlines across the Netherlands and beyond, offering bungalows and cottages designed for comfort within a natural environment. Over the decades the company expanded into Belgium, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Czech Republic and Scandinavia.

Merger with Roompot

In 2024 Landal GreenParks merged with fellow Dutch holiday park operator Roompot to form a single brand, Landal. The combined company now operates several hundred parks across multiple European countries, welcoming millions of guests each year.
