Hutten
Hutten began in 1929 as a bakery in Veghel, founded by Jan Hutten, the grandfather of current owner Bob Hutten. What started as a small family business grew over four generations into a leading player in Dutch corporate catering and hospitality.
From bakery to national caterer
Hutten entered the corporate catering market in 1994, building a reputation on craftsmanship, attention to detail and a strong sense of hospitality. The company today operates across three markets: Business Horeca, providing catering and hospitality services in company restaurants across the Netherlands, Meetings & Events for exclusive gatherings and celebrations, and Care & Cure, delivering food and hospitality within healthcare settings.
People and purpose
Hutten places a strong emphasis on craftsmanship and giving people, including those with a distance to the labour market, a meaningful place to work. Initiatives such as De Verspillingsfabriek, aimed at reducing food waste in the Netherlands, reflect the company's wider commitment to sustainability and social impact.
