Stage Entertainment

Stage Entertainment was founded in 1998 by Dutch producer Joop van den Ende, following the split of Endemol's live entertainment division. Building on decades of experience producing musical theatre in the Netherlands, Van den Ende grew the company into Europe's largest live entertainment business.

A stage for international musicals

Stage Entertainment operates theatres and produces large-scale musicals across multiple European countries, bringing international titles such as The Lion King, Mamma Mia! and The Phantom of the Opera to local audiences, alongside original productions developed in-house.

A European footprint

The company today has offices and theatres in several countries including the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, France and Italy, combining the production expertise of a global entertainment company with a strong presence in each local market it serves.
