Corendon was founded in 2000 by Atilay Uslu and Yildiray Karaer, beginning as a Turkey specialist that first sold airline tickets before offering fully arranged holidays. The company's mission from the outset was simple: to offer the best holiday at the best price.

An entrepreneur's story

Founder Atilay Uslu's route into business was anything but conventional. Unable to land a job through traditional applications, he took over his uncle's shawarma business at 22 and started a small travel agency alongside it. That entrepreneurial, no-nonsense instinct still runs through the company's competitive pricing and straightforward approach.

From travel agency to full travel group

What started as a tour operator grew steadily into a multifaceted travel organisation. Corendon founded its own airline, Corendon Airlines, in 2004, followed by Corendon Dutch Airlines in 2010, expanding its reach across the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, and today flying to destinations across and beyond Europe.

A growing hotel portfolio

Corendon Hotels & Resorts extended the group's value driven approach into hospitality. The portfolio today includes:
