For a professional Family Office, we are seeking an experienced Operational Facility Manager with a strong technical background. You will be responsible for the daily operation of several exclusive properties and assets. This is an independent and varied position with short lines of communication and a direct, visible impact.
You will work within a compact and professional team and report directly to the Director of Operations.
No two days are the same. One day, you may supervise technical maintenance at a private residence. The next, you may resolve a technical issue, inspect work carried out by a contractor or arrange servicing for the vehicle fleet. You maintain oversight, set priorities and ensure that everything behind the scenes continues to operate smoothly.
You do not wait for issues to arise. You anticipate them.
You will be responsiblefor the operational and facility management of several locations, including private residences, offices, garages and other assets.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and supervising preventive and corrective maintenance
- Coordinating and monitoring suppliers, contractors and service partners
- Identifying and resolving technical faults and irregularities
- Managing technical installations, security systems, access control and IT facilities
- Organising cleaning, garden maintenance, post and waste management
- Coordinating inspections, maintenance contracts and related documentation
- Managing the vehicle fleet, including planning, maintenance and servicing
- Supporting renovation projects, relocations and other projects
- Monitoring quality, planning, costs and progress
Candidate profile
You are an experienced and independent facility professional with strong technical insight and a highly developed sense of service.You understand that working within a Family Office requires more than effective facility anagement. You are reliable, professional and presentable, and you instinctively understand when to take visible action and when to operate discreetly in the background.
You also have:
- A relevant vocational or higher professional education level
- Experience in facility management, property management or technical management
- Experience managing multiple locations or a complex property portfolio
- An understanding of building systems, security, IT and technical installations
- Experience managing suppliers, contractors and contractual partners
- A valid driving licence and the flexibility to travel between locations
Experience within a Family Office, luxury estate, hospitality environment or another privacy sensitive organisation would be a significant advantage.
