HTMi, the Hotel and Tourism Management Institute, began life as a small hotel school in the UK before relocating to Switzerland in 1999, when founder Robert Larmour launched the institute in Sörenberg, a village set within a UNESCO Entlebuch Biosphere Reserve.
From sixteen students to a genuinely global network
HTMi started with just sixteen students from two nationalities and has since grown into a wider education group with campuses spanning Singapore, Australia, Dubai, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, alongside its original Swiss home. The Swiss campus today welcomes around 400 students from more than 35 nationalities across two dedicated buildings, Hotel Campus Mariental and Hotel Campus Panorama.
