Rosewood Hotels & Resorts began in 1979, when a historic mansion in Dallas, Texas was transformed into The Mansion on Turtle Creek by Caroline Rose Hunt, daughter of oil magnate H. L. Hunt. Its success established the blueprint for every Rosewood property to follow: a distinctive, residential-style luxury hotel shaped by the history, culture and geography of its location.
