Hotel Nobel
Hotel Nobel has welcomed guests on the Wadden island of Ameland since 1902, when Willem Barend Nobel first poured his now-renowned Nobeltje liqueur for guests. More than 120 years later, Hotel Nobel remains a family business, now led by the fourth generation.
An island institution
Hotel Nobel is a boutique hotel with 19 luxury rooms and suites, along with two distinctive church suites, located in the centre of Ballum on Ameland. The hotel's restaurant serves seasonal and local dishes, and the Nobeltje liqueur is still poured generously in the adjoining tasting room.
Tradition and renewal
Hotel Nobel has continually modernised over the decades while remaining respectful of its history, adding Nobel's Houses & Lofts and Nobel's Church Suites nearby. The warm, familiar hospitality that has defined the Nobel family for more than a century remains at the heart of every stay.
